Before You Arrive View checklist

Please arrive no more than 5 minutes before your booked start time.
Remain in your vehicle until the previous user has fully left the site.
Keep your dog on lead until you are inside the enclosed field and the gate is closed.
Bring suitable footwear, especially in wet weather.

Bookings start at the hour with 50 minutes of playtime and 10 minutes to clear up and leave the site.
Please try not to arrive more than 5 minutes before your booked time slot and please stay in your car if there is someone else still occupying the field, until they have removed their dog from site. This is to prevent any reactive dogs from clashing.
There are 10-minute gaps between each appointment to give you time to leave the site before the next person and dog arrives. Please keep an eye on the time to ensure you are off-site before the next person arrives for their booking.
Dogs must be kept on a lead until inside the enclosed field. We are a busy working farm with all the associated risks and hazards.
Please ensure that gates are securely closed both on arrival and when leaving. This applies to both the road entrance gate and the pedestrian gate into the enclosed field.
Please ensure the gate is fully closed before letting your dog off lead.
Please do not enter the field if it is occupied. If the previous occupants over-run their time slot please call us on 07386 906897 who will ask them to leave.
Please stay aware of the time while exercising your dog so that you vacate the field promptly at the end of your booked time slot, to ensure that other people following you can use their full time slot booked.
Please ensure the water tap is fully turned off if used.
You must clear up after your dog within the time slot booked (not afterwards).
Please pick up any dog poo. Free bags are provided via an on-site dispenser if you do not have any, and waste bins are available on site.
Please only place bagged dog waste in the bins provided. No general litter or household waste.
Please do not leave tied poo bags on gates or fences; place them in the bins before you leave.
Please do not put food waste in the dog waste bins.
Any hirer who fails to clear up after their dog will be refused a future hire of the field.
Please do not allow your dog to dig anywhere in the field.
Dogs should be in good health, vaccinated and up-to-date with flea, tick and worming treatments. Please do not bring any dogs that are/have been recently poorly to the field, for example, if they are showing signs of coughing, diarrhoea, vomiting, or other out-of-character behaviour.
Please only exercise your dog in the enclosed field.
Dogs should not be tied to any structure.
Please do not leave dogs unattended in the field.
Any dogs left in cars are your responsibility and you should ensure they have adequate shade, water and ventilation.
The field is a non-smoking area.
No glass is permitted anywhere on site.
Children must be supervised at all times.
Children must not use any dog agility equipment.
Please note that there is no lighting at our field.
Please return any moved items or equipment to their original position before leaving.
You will be liable for any damage caused on our premises (including damage to any equipment provided by us) caused by you, your dog(s) or any person in your group. Any damage to the field or its facilities should be reported to us on 07386 906897 immediately.

Curbridge Dog Park cannot accept any liability for property (e.g. toys, leads, etc) left at the premises.
Cars are parked at your own risk and we take no responsibility for cars at the premises.
We do not accept any liability for any accident, injury or misadventure to property, persons or animals, however caused, when using this facility.

The dog is registered with the Index of Exempted Dogs (IED) and a copy of the life certificate is obtained and provided in the event of a claim.
A copy of the public liability insurance certificate for the dog is obtained and provided in the event of a claim.
The dog handler ratio is 1:1 with their handler at all times unless with other dogs from the same household.
The dog is neutered – in line with Government Rules. Owners will be required to provide proof that their dog has been neutered by the applicable deadline depending on the age of the dog.
The dog is microchipped.
The dog is kept on a lead and muzzled until the gate is shut when entering the field.
The dog is put back on a lead and muzzled before opening the gate to leave the field.
You can remove the lead and muzzle once inside the enclosed field.
If the household has more than 1 dog, they can come to the field together as long as they have a minimum of 1 handler. All dogs’ leads and muzzles can be removed once in the field including the XL Bully.
If there are dogs from different households, the banned breed will need to remain muzzled and on a lead at all times with a 1:1 handler.

Heavy, large and broad. Blocky or slightly squared muzzle. Prominent cheek muscles with strong, well-defined jaws. It often has prominent wrinkles on the face.

Neck

Heavy, muscular, slightly arched, tapering from the shoulders to the base of the skull. Medium in length.

Body

Heavily-muscled, large, blocky body. Broad, deep chest with well-sprung ribs. Generally appears square-shaped.

Tail

Medium length and low set. Tapers to a point to end at about the level of the hocks.

Glossy, smooth, close, single coat.

Everything you need to know before your visit

How long is a session?

Each booking gives you 50 minutes of playtime in the field, with an additional 10 minutes built in to clear up and vacate before the next session.

How many dogs can I bring?

You can bring up to 6 dogs per session. Pricing is based on the number of dogs: up to 2 dogs for £10, up to 4 dogs for £12, and up to 6 dogs for £14. For larger numbers, please enquire via the contact form.

Is the field fully enclosed?

The 2-acre field is enclosed with 6ft high fencing. The bottom 2ft has smaller mesh wire to help prevent small dogs from squeezing through, and there’s underground mesh to help stop diggers from escaping. No outdoor field can be guaranteed escape-proof.

What facilities are available?

We provide on-site water, poo bag dispensers, dog jumps, a tunnel, a sandpit, a field shelter with seating, and off-road parking right next to the field entrance.

What about XL Bully breeds?

XL Bullies are welcome, provided that owners meet all legal requirements, including registration with the Index of Exempted Dogs (IED), public liability insurance, microchipping, neutering, and muzzling/leashing at entry and exit. View full XL Bully requirements.

How do I book?

What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?

Cancellations and refunds are available only when requested at least 48 hours before your booking start time, via our contact form, email, or text message.

Can reactive or nervous dogs use the field?

Yes. Private sessions mean only one booking uses the field at a time. Please arrive no more than 5 minutes before your slot, remain in your vehicle until the previous user has left, and keep your dog on lead until inside the enclosed field.

Do I need to stay with my dogs?

Yes, owners must remain with their dogs at all times during the session. You are responsible for supervising your dogs throughout your booking.

Is there lighting at the field?

No, there is no field lighting. Please be aware of the daylight hours when booking.

What happens if I arrive late?

Your session still ends at the scheduled end time so the next booking can start on time.

What if someone is still in the field when I arrive?

Please stay in your vehicle. If they are still in the field at the start time of your booking (on the hour), call us on 07386 906897.

Can I book multiple slots in one go?

Yes. Click Add a time while selecting your first slot, then choose another slot.

What should I bring?

Bring a lead for entry and exit, suitable footwear, and anything your dog needs. In wet weather, a towel is recommended. Poo bags and water are available on site.

Can I bring children to the field?

Yes, but children must be supervised at all times and must not play with the dog agility equipment.

Can I let my dog off lead in the car park?

No, dogs must stay on lead outside the enclosed field, including in the car park.
